Here’s the low down on my wedding and portrait photography.

The most important thing you need to know is that it’s going to be so much fun. No cheesy smiles, stiff posing or not knowing what to do with your hands. Just a relaxed time together, chatting about life and making some new memories.

“Looking at these images, I get really emotional. My pregnancy was incredibly challenging, but when I see Luke and I in this environment, there is an essence of calm, stillness and pure joy. I cannot thank you enough for creating a safe space for us to be vulnerable and photographed as we embarked on our journey into parenthood.”
— Chloe

“You are done. Julia I have only looked at a few and I’m crying. I cannot believe this.
They make me so emotional.
Thank you thank you thank you.”
— Carly

“OMG Julia, where do I begin? These are the most beautiful photos. You captured these memories so perfectly and I’m so grateful.
Thank you so much. Love.”
— Greta

Elopements and weddings

  • My only rules for weddings are that they should feel like you and not be terrible for the environment.

I’m not into tradition for tradition’s sake and I don’t think you need to have a cake / choose a bridal party / do a first dance / sign any paperwork if it doesn’t feel right.

I’ve got a soft spot for low-key weddings and adventure elopements, but I love big family celebrations too.

I’ll stay pretty quiet throughout the ceremony so you can stay focused on the moment.

When it’s time for portraits, we’ll head off and I’ll give you a minute to soak things up together.

I’ll offer gentle prompts so you don’t feel awkward or lost, but I won’t bend you into cheesy or forced poses.

Throughout it all we’ll be making jokes and I’ll be telling you how bloody cute you are.

At the reception, I’ll take more of a backseat role — watching the crowd and enjoying the speeches. Unless of course my favourite song comes on, then I’ll be joining you on the dance floor.

  • I have three packages:

    • 3.5 hours

    • 6 hours

    • 8 hours

And in 2024 they start at $1,500 and go up to $3,300 for weddings within 50kms of Bonville.

I’m happy to send you my full pricing guide with more information and if you can’t find a package that’s right for you, I can often customise to suit.

That goes for smaller, two-hour packages as well.

I’m also always up for a phone, Zoom or in-person chat if you want to get to know me better and decide if I’m the right third wheel for your wedding day.

There’s never any pressure to book me. Just shoot me a message here to kick things off.

I love shooting outside in places that are special to you — the beach you walk your dog on, the forest glade you go when you need to reset, or the backyard of your home.

  • Portrait sessions generally last from 60 to 90 minutes.

We’ll go for a walk, have a chat and generally feel pretty relaxed.

I’ll give you casual prompts so you don’t feel lost and know what to do with your hands.
