You might feel weird about having your picture taken. But my hidden talent is making people feel good bloody brilliant in front of the camera. It’s just like hanging out with a friend (except I’ll always tell you what to do with your hands).

Photos are like time capsules.

When I was a kid, I was obsessed with relics of the past.

My mum’s jewellery box. Dad’s paintings. Old photographs. I would spread our family albums out on my bed and time-travel to moments and memories.

In high school, my friend and I even buried a box full of our favourite things — letters to ourselves, photos, tapes — to be dug up one day in the future.

Well, we never did find that box. But I’m still just as obsessed with capturing a moment — and a feeling — in time. Now I just do it with a camera (no shovel required).

Every chapter of your story is worth preserving. If you’d like to hold onto this one - I’d love to be there.
